Classic FM - a wide range of classical tracks. There is an introductory offer of 50 free downloads, and then a charge of 22p or less per track
HMV - over 2 million tracks to choose from. You can buy tracks from 59p, albums from £3.99. Unlimited monthly subscription for £14.99
Napster - offers a choice of Light (buy tracks for 79p and albums from £7.95 with no subscription fee), Membership (£9.95 a month - listen to tracks as often as you want, and purchase downloads from 64p) and Napster to Go (£14.95 a month - everything in the standard membership, and a choice of 2 million tracks to download to your MP3 player as often as you like)
Tesco - A no-frills service. Download tracks from 79p and albums from £7.95
Naxos Music Library The entire Naxos catalogue of over 170,000 tracks is available to listen to online, but there is no download facility. Subscriptions start from around £10 a month. Many libraries have Institutional Licenses, so you can access the service for free on your home computer. Contact your local library to see if this facility is available to you.
